Julie’s Legacy
Restaurant Julie is named after Julie Mjelva, the woman who bought the hotel in 1899 and laid the foundation for what is today Union Geiranger Resort & Spa. With clear ambitions for quality, hospitality, and development, she set standards that have shaped the hotel for generations.

Today, Hotel Union Geiranger and Restaurant Julie carry this legacy forward with quality ingredients, skilled craftsmanship, and genuine hospitality. The menu follows the seasons and combines local produce with inspiration from European cuisine.
