General terms and conditions

1. Booking
The number of people, price, accommodation, and any other products and services to be provided by the hotel are specified in the confirmation.

2. Validity of the price agreement
The agreed prices are binding for both parties. However, the hotel reserves the right to adjust the prices as a result of changed costs due to increased taxes and fees, or other circumstances beyond the hotel’s control.

3. Cancellation – changes
Cancellations must be made in writing directly to the hotel no later than 48 hours before arrival to avoid a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is 100% of the reserved stay.
Spa treatments must be cancelled directly with the spa department – tel: 70 26 83 23 or email: spa@hotelunion.no.
All changes must be made in writing directly to the hotel in order to be valid.

4. Use of rooms
Rooms will be ready for check-in after 3:00 p.m. and may be used until 12:00 noon on the day of departure.
We hold your room until 6:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. If you arrive later than this, please let us know by calling +47 70 26 83 00 or by sending an email to
frontoffice@hotelunion.no. By agreement with the hotel, rooms can be used beyond this time. Late check-out NOK 500 per room.

5. Force majeure
Events beyond the control of the contracting party – for example strike, lockout, fire, etc., which make it impossible to fulfil the obligations under this agreement – entitle the parties to terminate the agreement without liability for compensation.

6. Deposit
The hotel reserves the right to require a deposit or credit card guarantee.
