Full body massage with oils

A full body massage with quality oils, either refreshing or calming, depending on what you need. Our experienced therapists will do everything they can to give you 50 minutes of deeply relaxing massage. Perfect when you need a little time to yourself to recharge and find your inner calm again, before you are ready for your next adventure.

Body scrub

With salt and special oil

We use a rose special oil and extra finely ground salt, and gently exfoliate your whole body. We recommend this treatment before you enjoy a massage or any other treatment that doesn’t already include a body scrub. The salt removes skin cells that are no longer productive, boosts circulation, and prepares your skin to receive the active ingredients from the exclusive oil.

Body scrub and clay wrap

Body scrub with magnesium

The marine mineral scrub refreshes and moisturises your skin with natural sea salt crystals and minerals that leave it soft and smooth. While the clay wrap works, we gently massage your scalp. After the scrub, we wrap you in a white, smooth marine clay with detoxifying and nourishing effects. The clay is rich in magnesium and calcium, which strengthen and care for your skin.

Body waxing

Waxing of the desired area

We also offer waxing at Union Spa, and this can be combined with other treatments. Using warm wax, we quickly and effectively remove hair growth on lower legs, thighs and bikini area, underarms or back. NOK 440 per area.

Cellulite treatment

Firming cellulite treatment

We scrub the entire body with a combination of salt and oil. Our therapists then apply wraps to the areas that need it most — the stomach, buttocks, thighs, or arms. The scrub softens and warms the skin to enhance the firming effect of the treatment. For best results, we recommend avoiding sauna use, bathing, and exercise after the treatment.

Massage and cupping 50 minutes

Cupping is a deeper form of connective tissue massage that effectively releases a stiff neck and tight muscles in the shoulders, back, and hips.

We use rubber vacuum cups that are placed on areas where the body has particular needs. The treatment stimulates the body’s own transport system by increasing blood circulation.

We also offer waxing at Union Spa, and this can be combined with other treatments. Using warm wax, we quickly and effectively remove unwanted hair growth on the face, such as eyebrows, upper lip, and chin.

Foot care

If you’d like to give your feet a little extra attention, we offer foot care. We remove hard skin, use rich, nourishing creams, file, shape and trim the nails. We’re also happy to share advice and tips you can use at home. The treatment is finished with nail polish. If you prefer a polish that lasts longer, we recommend the 80-minute treatment with shellac.

Using smooth hot stones, the therapist will slowly massage your entire body, from aching shoulders right down to the soles of your feet. You’ll finish with a thorough facial cleansing and moisturising – while the black stones keep you warm.
This treatment draws on the power of nature to give you the best possible massage and ease tender spots. We use moisturising creams from the German quality brand Babor.

Hamam

Traditional Turkish bath

Here you can enjoy Turkish bathing traditions at their best, with large quantities of steam, water and soap.
We scrub the entire body with a special Turkish exfoliating glove, massaging you with generous amounts of lather.
The treatment finishes with a massage of the neck and base of the skull, topped off with a good shampoo.
The ideal treatment, whether you’re on your own or with your loved one or a friend.
Afterwards you’ll be served a speciality Turkish apple tea, both sweet and refreshing.

Hamam ritual for groups

Hamam ritual for groups of 4–8 people

One of our therapists guides small groups on a sensory visit to our Turkish bath. Here we can host groups of 4 to 8 people, and we are happy to welcome groups of friends or colleagues. The self-treatment takes place in an authentic bathhouse with marble tiles and a large heated stone bench in the middle. We warmly recommend this to anyone who would like a steamy little break together in our spa.

If you are comfortable with it, we are happy to share a few tips so you can care for the skin on your body and face in the best possible way. We also adjust the massage table so you can lie down in complete comfort.
