Check-in
We guarantee that your room will be ready from 3:00 p.m. It may be possible to check in earlier, but we cannot guarantee that the room will be ready before 3:00 p.m. We have a luggage room where you can store your bags – and you are warmly welcome to enjoy the hotel facilities or explore Geiranger until your room is ready. Subject to availability, we can offer early check-in for NOK 250.

Breakfast is always included in your stay with us. It is served in Restaurant Fjorden on the first floor. Breakfast hours: Monday–Saturday: 07:00–10:00. Sunday: 07:00–10:30 in the summer season. In the low season, breakfast hours are Monday–Saturday: 07:30–10:00, Sunday: 08:00–10:30.

Restaurant Fjorden is our main restaurant. Here we serve the popular Union buffet with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, every day from 18:30 to 21:30. If you have booked a stay with dinner included, this buffet is what is included in the price. In the low season, we offer either a buffet or a 3-course set menu (at the hotel’s discretion).
Restaurant Julie serves dinner from 17:00. This is an à la carte restaurant, and dinner here is not included in the half-board packages.

Entrance to Union Bad is included in your stay. Opening hours are 06:00–22:30. Here you have access to a large heated indoor pool, comfortable loungers, sauna, an outdoor heated therapy pool, as well as a small children’s pool for the youngest guests. There are separate changing rooms connected to the pool area, but we provide bathrobes and slippers for all adults in the hotel room, so you are welcome to change into swimwear in your room and walk to the pool area in slippers and bathrobe.

The age limit for visiting Union Spa is 18 years (16 years when accompanied by an adult). Here you have access to a large wellness area with various saunas, experience showers, a Japanese hot bath and several relaxation zones. A spa breakfast is served between 9 and 12, a simple continental breakfast, and you can enjoy coffee, tea and fruit throughout the day.

On the 3rd floor, by the pool area, you’ll find Café Løsta. Here we serve light lunch dishes and refreshing drinks. In summer, it’s wonderful to enjoy a leisurely lunch out in the garden with views over the Geiranger fjord. Food is served from 12:00–17:00 (drinks are served until 19:00).

Here you can enjoy both lunch and dinner à la carte. Open from 12:00–22:00. Our menu changes with the seasons and available ingredients, and we use the finest Norwegian produce. Dinner is served from 17:00. In high season, the menu from Restaurant Julie can also be enjoyed outdoors (weather permitting) on the terrace.
