Good advice before your visit or treatment

Before every treatment begins, we offer you a consultation with one of our therapists to talk about what matters most to you, so you can enjoy the best possible spa experience.

Any ailments, allergies or other discomfort that may be crucial for the result are important for us to know about. Everything is then coordinated with your wishes and needs, so you get the most out of your treatment. Good communication is the key to a good treatment experience.

The wellness area offers several relaxation zones where you can enjoy complete tranquility before and after your treatments, depending on what you need. Perhaps you prefer to unwind with a book from the library, close your eyes in soft loungers, savour the silence in the quiet room, or meditate while taking in the view. We recommend that you drink plenty of our pure, fresh water before, during, and after your spa visit. Water is especially important when you spend time in the sauna area.

Spa breakfast is served between 9 and 12. This is a simple continental breakfast. In the lounge you have access to coffee, tea and fruit all day. Other drinks can be ordered and served in the lounge in our relaxation area. If you would like food service, we recommend Kafé Løsta or the garden by the pool.

A good facial treatment is even better on smooth skin, and we recommend that any shaving is done 5–6 hours before the treatment begins. If you would like the special, deeply relaxing feeling our body treatment in the Turkish hamam provides, we recommend shaving the day before.

We kindly ask that any cancellation of spa treatments is made at least 24 hours before your treatment is due to start. For cancellations made later than this, the full amount (100%) will be charged.

A spa experience should lower your stress level through relaxation and quiet. We put our mobile phones on silent and place them in the locker before entering Union Spa. Or simply leave it in your hotel room.

A visit to the spa area should be a private experience. We want our guests to be able to enjoy this special time without being disturbed by photography or filming.
