Wine Cellar
Over many years, the Mjelva family has built up a unique wine collection that today counts around 7,000 bottles. From this collection, we have created a wine list that gives you the opportunity to explore wines from some of the world’s finest producers and wine regions.
Behind the wine list at Union Geiranger lies a wine collection with particular strength in Bordeaux, red and white Burgundy, and the USA – complemented by hand-picked wines from Champagne, Italy, Germany, and several of the world’s great wine regions.
Here you’ll find everything from classic Champagne houses like Krug, Dom Pérignon and Louis Roederer, to sought-after producers such as Domaine Leflaive, Domaine Ramonet, Armand Rousseau and Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. The Bordeaux selection includes icons like Château Latour, Lafite Rothschild, Mouton Rothschild, Margaux, Haut-Brion, Cheval Blanc and Petrus, while Italy is represented by, among others, Sassicaia and other strong names from Piedmont, Tuscany and Veneto.
The wine list is curated for you who want to find the right wine for your meal – whether you are looking for a mature vintage, a great classic, or something new to discover. The wine cellar is not open for tours, but the selection can be ordered from the wine list in the restaurant.
